Working with boys with behavioral issues is challenging. Why do you keep coming back?

It is my duty to be an influential figure as well as a mentor in their lives and I take pride in that. Also, I keep coming back to see the positive growth in the boys.

What do you hope to gain personally by working with our boys?

Simply the experience by helping the boys overcome obstacles and the knowledge we gain through experiences.

What have you learned that you didn’t know before working at The Genesis Project?

Working at Genesis, you will learn that you will deal with each child differently and every boy is unique in their own way. Each child deals with past trauma and certain things trigger negative or unpleasant behaviors.

When you describe The Genesis Project to people you know, what is the one thing you want them to know about our organization and our clients?

That we are a trauma-informed residential group home that is proud of the work we do. We care for our boys’ well-being and positive growth.
