The Genesis Project has a classroom where Edmond Public Schools educates our boys who are on individual education programs, or IEPs. IEPs are specific educational programs to support each boy’s individual academic goals.
During the last quarter (April – June 2023):
· 96% of our boys maintained or improved their academic engagement. Engagement is determined by evaluating the rate of school attendance.
· 90% gained support with academic success through out-of-school time during which support is given with reading and homework assistance.
· 100% increased their knowledge of how to behave properly in a school setting by completing a life skills etiquette class. Going to school is a big behavioral trigger for many of our boys. This education hopes to help them feel more comfortable, confident and understand acceptable behavior at school.
