The Genesis Project Experiential Learning Modules – A Brand New Bike
We are proud to present every boy at Genesis with a new bicycle. Our boys earn their bicycles by graduating from a successful module system developed and implemented by experts at The Genesis Project.
Most learning occurs through experience. It is assumed that our boys are deprived of typical daily learning experiences that are common among most youth. The modules are a reward-based system teaching the basics like bicycle safety, the importance of a clean room, swimming and pool safety, hygiene, mealtime etiquette, friendship, recreation, therapy, expectations for school and bedtime, and preparing a child for discharge. Other topics include safety, responsibility, problem-solving, hobbies and effective communication.
